Huacaya Alpacas

TAF Kira was sired by the Studmaster male K-2 and her dam is Hemingway daughter NWA,LTD Auntie. She has a very pretty head, phenotypically correct with a very nice fleece. Her histogram for 2005 was 18.5--5.2--27.9--3.3 over30. Kira's dam's 6 year fleece maintained a very low micron of 20.5 Kira's last girl, Alpaca North's Olivia, took at second to a MFI Peruvian Precocious offspring at the North American 2011 in a very large white class. Kira was most recently bred to Xanadu's Barnabus, aka Mr. Superfine, producing Barnabus' Tate, our current herdsire.

A beautiful girl from our Brandy's Breezetta and Peruvian Dually of Hidden Hill Farm. Crimpy fleece and very dense. We think the color is coming from Breeze's sire, 6Peruvian Conan, with his lines stretching into some fine animals like Peruvian Lancaster. Her first cria with our Barnabus' Tate is El Senor Palido, a stunningly white little guy with long silky fleece. We're looking forward to his first shearing and histogram. Miss Dia is a keeper.

Kuyayky, or Cookie, as we call her, is the total package. She carries herself with an air of elegance that was evident even on her first day. And the first parting of her fleece showed that we were in for something special. The color, the crimp, the luster and the brightness were and are amazing! At her first shows in 2018, Cookie took first in halter at North American, first in halter at the Bay State Small Breeders Blast, and Reserve Champion at the BSSBB. At her first shearing, Kuyayky chimed in at 14.9 microns. She is a remarkable young lady!

Chiwchi is Alpaca East's first cria, and he combines the soft fineness of sire Tate along with the regal conformation of his dam, our Breezetta. He's very uniform in brightness and color. Crimpy, too.

GMF Prima Nina's most recent offspring, Dylan is beautifully solid boy with a great presence. He has bright white fleece, very dense. and has maintained an AFD in the low 20's into his sixth year.

Phinn is our "go to" guy to keep male weanlings company. He has a very sweet disposition and is very calm - just the ticket. On top of that, he is producing voluminous low micron count fiber.

The Pale Lord, or Lido, as we call him, is absolutely as white as the new fallen snow, except for that small heart shaped fawn spot on the front of his neck. So far, he is showing beautiful lustre and crimp, along with unreasonable staple length for a six month old. We're awaiting his first shearing and histogram!
